How will I know if I can be reimbursed by my insurance?
We recommend that you call the number on the back of your card and ask the following questions:
1. Do you provide reimbursement for out-of-network or non-participating providers?
2. If so, what percentage of Usual and Customary charges do you reimburse for? Is there a deductible that must be met first?
3. What do you consider the usual and customary charge for service 90834 from a Masters level LPC in Philadelphia 19102?
This should give you some idea of what you can expect from them. We do not currently bill health insurance companies directly. The exception to this is the University of Pennsylvania's Aetna Student Health Plan. UPenn students who have the Aetna Student Plan may now see Meghan for any services for a price of $50 per session using their out of network benefits ($75 for initial therapy assessments).
